What is ARIA?

Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) is a technical specification or standard of the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) which defines how to develop applications and web content that are accessible for persons with disabilities, such as those who use a screen reader or who can only use a keyboard, so that they can understand the page and interact with it.

On 14 December 2017 the final recommendation of the WAI-ARIA was published, which is particularly useful when developing presentations of dynamic content and user interfaces developed with Ajax, HTML, JavaScript, and similar technologies.
