What is keyword proximity?

Distance between search terms as individual words. For example, if the search term is ‘surgeon Bilbao implants’, the keyword proximity would be one word in the phrase ‘The best surgeon of Bilbao specializing in implants’ (the word between ‘dentist’ and ‘Bilbao’) and two words between ‘Bilbao’ and ‘implants’. The smaller the distance between the component words of a search term, the more relevant it will be from the point of view of the search engine.
