What is sdk (Software Development Kit)?

Abbreviation for software development kit, which refers to the collection of resources and elements that allow developers to programme software applications for a specific technological environment. Thus, for example, there are SDKs for Android, developed by Google for its cellphones, or the DirectX SDK by Microsoft, on which many of the current games for Windows are based.
