Company that manages the most popular search engine on the Internet. It publicly declares its mission to be "to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful" and to achieve this it continuously indexes new results in its database using specific webcrawlers known as googlebots.

Since its foundation in 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Google has undergone rapid growth absorbing other companies such as YouTube or DoubleClick and built an extensive content network that it exploits with its contextual advertising applications AdWords and AdSense. 95% of its income comes from these two programs which make it the undisputed leader of online advertising.
